Mira and the Book That Drew Back

Mira tiptoed between tall paper towers inside Sketchbook Library. Every shelf curved and looped like a gentle scribble, and the floor was soft as an eraser crumb. Mira’s book pouch bounced as she hurried after Beat, who was tapping out a rhythm on their wristband, the gentle taptap echoing between book spines.

Beat spun around, grinning.
