Colorful cloth flags fluttered above as Koyo scampered down the cobblestone street, his tiny teal satchel bouncing with every step.

Mira hurried alongside him, round glasses slipping down her nose, eyes wide at the whirl of colors overhead.

It was the annual Flag Festival, and every doorway, every lamp post, was draped in strings of little flags from all around the world.
