For grown-ups

Stories you can hand over.

Soft-painted picture books for ages 2 to 12, read aloud in a calm voice. No ads, no autoplay rabbit holes, no surprise characters mid-scene. Just stories — calmer ones at bedtime.

What we don't do

The short list of relief.

  • No ads. Anywhere.

Not before the story, not between scenes, not while you make tea. No animated banners pretending to be part of the story.

  • No autoplay rabbit hole.

Stories end when stories end. We don't queue the next one to keep your kid on screen — that's your call.

  • No surprise characters.

A consistent original cast. No paid IP tie-ins, no licensed mascots wandering in mid-scene.

  • No data-mined kid profiles.

We don't sell or share what your child reads. No third-party trackers, no behavioural ad networks pointed at a 4-year-old.

What we do

What's actually in the app.

  • Koyo

    One cast, every night

Koyo, Mira, Numi, Orbit, Beat, and Pip anchor the world, with more Koydo friends joining through the shelves. After a month your child has a favorite.

  • Pip

    Moonlit is actually calmer

Bedtime stories use slower pacing, softer voices, and settled endings. Not just a dark theme on top of the same content.

  • Mira

    Every word, read aloud

Tap to listen, or read at your own pace. Every word lights up as it's read, so emerging readers can follow along — and color the story afterward on a printable page.

Things parents ask first.

What ages is this actually for?
Stories are sized for ages 2 to 12 across two bedtime tracks — The Hush (2–7) and The Dreaming Meadow (8–12). The younger end works as read-alouds; older kids read on their own with the voice reading along. Every story shows an age band on its cover.
Is there a bedtime mode, or is that just marketing?
Bedtime is its own shelf, called Moonlit. The voice slows down, the colors settle, and the story lands on a calm ending — made for actually falling asleep, not just a dark theme on top of the same content.
Will my child get hooked on a never-ending feed?
They can't — there isn't one. One story, then it ends. The controls offer the same friends, and that's it. No algorithmic next-up, no infinite scroll.
How much does this cost?
Read free tonight — a set of stories is open with no signup. When you want the full library, one subscription is $7 a month or $50 a year, or $75 once for life. Cancel anytime in your App Store settings.
Where do the stories come from?
Original — written, illustrated, and read aloud for Koydo. Not licensed, not pulled from a public-domain pile. Your child sees the same gentle cast in every story, painted by hand.
